The TRS-A Series is a Type 1 AC Surge Protective Device designed for service-entrance and main distribution boards. Using graphite-gap discharge technology, it provides high-energy lightning current handling capability and reliable protection against direct lightning strikes and severe transient overvoltages.

With a robust discharge structure, fast response, and stable performance, the TRS-A Series is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial low-voltage power systems located in lightning-prone or surge-intensive environments.

The TRS-A15 is the entry-level model of the TRS-A Type 1 SPD series, offering 15 kA (10/350 μs) impulse current capability. It is designed for lightning protection systems with moderate exposure levels and provides reliable discharge performance for basic service-entrance protection.

With its graphite-gap discharge structure, the device efficiently handles direct lightning current while maintaining a low voltage protection level. It is well-suited for smaller buildings, residential distribution boards, and facilities where lightning density is relatively low to medium.
