The TRS5 Dual Series TRS5-B+C is a compact Type 1+2 surge protective device engineered to safeguard low-voltage AC systems against both lightning-generated currents and switching-induced overvoltages.
This dual-module design offers enhanced installation flexibility, supporting both 2-pole and 4-pole configurations, making it suitable for a wide range of distribution systems.

Built with high-performance MOV technology, the TRS5 Dual Series delivers a 12.5 kA (10/350 μs) lightning impulse withstand capability and up to 50 kA (8/20 μs) maximum discharge current. Its ≤1.3 kV protection level ensures surge energy is rapidly diverted while maintaining safe voltage limits for downstream equipment.

A clear red visual indicator provides straightforward status monitoring, while optional potential-free remote signaling contacts allow the device to be integrated with supervisory or building management systems.
The pluggable module structure simplifies routine maintenance and enables quick replacement without altering wiring.
