The TRS-B80 is a high-capacity Type 2 Surge Protective Device (SPD) designed for robust protection in industrial and commercial AC power distribution systems. Utilizing high-performance Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) technology, it delivers a 40 kA nominal discharge current and an impressive 80 kA maximum discharge capability (8/20µs), making it suitable for primary protection in sub-distribution boards exposed to medium-to-high surge risks.

The device provides an ultra-fast response time of less than 25 ns and maintains a low voltage protection level Up of ≤1.8kV, effectively safeguarding sensitive downstream equipment connected to 230 V AC networks. Its pluggable module design ensures quick, tool-free replacement during maintenance, while the visual red fault indicator provides an immediate and clear operational status. With a robust housing and standard DIN-rail mounting structure, the TRS-B80 integrates seamlessly into control panels and distribution boards.
